Water 360 is a set of flexible, interactive tools, produced for the Australian Water Recycling Center of Excellence, in partnership with the WateReuse Foundation. The tools are meant to help water utilities engage and educate their stakeholders around the issues of water recycling for potable use.
The centerpiece of the tool kit is the Global Connections Map. This is an interactive map that features stories of communities, the world, that practice potable recycling. The map also includes a set of FAQs answered by prominent water scientists.
Each site on the map contains stories about the needs that drove the decisions for potable reuse, and the benefits resulting from that decision. There are also videos that show the science behind the technology and videos that highlight the safety of processes. Theis sample is from The Orange County Water District.
The tool kit also contains six "Think and Drink" animations. These are short, sharp animations designed to get people to think differently about water.
